The Headwaters Lakes Association is a volunteer organization of cabin owners on Headwaters Lakes. We manage road access, emergency communications, and community events for our members.
From plowing the access road in winter to organizing the annual potluck, we're the backbone of the lakes community. Membership helps fund shared infrastructure and keeps neighbours connected.
Learn more about usIn summer we coordinate with the municipality on road maintenance. In winter we contract snow plowing as required. A separate snow plowing fund is maintained — additional contributions are collected as needed and communicated at the AGM.
We are working to establish a lake radio network for community emergencies. In the meantime, our SMS system at 778-760-3133 connects you with on-call volunteer responders.
Annual potluck, work parties, and community meetings keep cabin owners connected year-round.
We liaise with local government and provincial agencies on issues that affect our community — road conditions, lake levels, wildfire risk, and land use.
